Introduction to digital photography is a one day introductory workshop that
will introduce participants to photographing with digital cameras. The workshop
will address both technical as well as creative aspects of digital photography.
This will be a hands-on workshop, so remember to bring your camera (and you
manual), so that you can fully participate. There is no prerequisite knowledge
required to attend this workshop, but we do strongly suggest that you experiment
a bit with you camera before you attend. When you arrive at our workshop
you should at least have new or fully charged batteries, your camera's memory
card(s) (with no images on it (them)), and have a basic understanding of how to
at least take a snapshot with your particular camera.
This workshop will begin with a mini lecture or discussion of general digital
camera tips and techniques. We will then travel to the first of our two
locations to begin the interactive portion of our workshop at San Luis Mission.
Our second location, for our sunset shoot, will be at Lake Talquin. After the
workshop we will have a rap up discussion over dinner (dutch treat) at Jim and
Milts BBQ.
